Our project to make the hall accessible to everyone started at the beginning of August. Work is taking place to put in a lift to all floors, create a new welcoming entrance on the Burton Road side of the hall, put in new accessible toilets and add a new room to the ground floor. It’s a really exciting time and we hope the works will be complete by early December.
November Update
The project is progressing well with all the demolition work complete. New spaces are taking shape including the new foyer, toilets, lift shaft and garden room. It’s exciting to see where the new entrance will be and how much it will improve visitor experience at the hall.
